FAQ
Q1: What is cell phone unlocking?
Most new cell phones are programmed to only accept a SIM card from that carrier. By unlocking your phone you remove this restriction and are able to use your phone with the carrier of your choice. There are many ways to unlock a phone. Some require downloading software & connecting your phone to a computer. Our method is “remote unlocking”. We will provide you with a pass code that is unique to your phone and will unlock you phone!
Q2: Why should you unlock your phone?
Unlocking your phone will not change your reception or battery life, but it will give you the ability to use your phone with any GSM carrier. If you travel you can purchase a local SIM and avoid huge roaming charges. You can also raise the resale value of your phone by unlocking it.
Q3: How does remote unlocking work?
Every GSM cell phone has a unique subsist unlock code. By giving us you IMEI number (which is completely safe) we are able to search for your specific code. Once you have the code you will simply enter the code into your phone and it will now be unlocked. THAT’S IT!!
Q4: Is it safe to unlock your phone?
Unlocking your phone will not harm your phone, nor will it void your warranty.
Q5: Why do I keep on getting a "code error" when I enter the unlock code?
There are three possibilites:
1. You may have provided us with incorrect information on the unlock code request form (ex: IMEI number, carrier, MEP, country, etc). Please check to see that you have supplied the correct information in the email we sent you (located at the end of the email). If the information is incorrect then please resend the information. If the information you have provided us is correct, please see the next possibility.
2. When you type in "mep2"/"mepp2" or "mep4"/"mepp4" and when the enter code prompt pops up does it say "0 left" or "0 tries" on the right hand side of the prompt? If it does say "0 left"/"0 tries" then you have a hard-locked phone and it must be unlocked in person by an unlocker. If it does not say "0 left"/"0 tries" then please continue on to the next possibility.
3. You may have entered the unlock code incorrectly. Please try one more time (It is best not to do this if you have 4 tries or less left. If you have less than 4 tries, please skip to number 5). If you get the "code error" again please see the next possibility
Q6: Can you unlock any Blackberry?
YES. We can unlock any Blackberry as long as it is GSM and not CDMA.
Q7: Can i cancel and order once it has been placed?
